Privacy policy
This app lets operators submit machine observations, service requests and photos to CombiRents using a machine-specific QR link.
Information collected
A report contains the name and contact information you provide, machine location, notes, optional meter reading and selected photos. The app adds the machine serial and model, a receipt reference and submission time. Photos are resized and re-encoded before storage to remove embedded metadata.
How information is used and stored
CombiRents uses this information to review machine reports and coordinate follow-up. Report details and photos are saved in the matching private serial-number Google Drive folder. Report details, receipt references and upload verification information are also stored in the reporting site's database to support reliable submissions and retries.
The reporting site uses Sites hosting and its Cloudflare infrastructure; files are stored using Google Drive. These services process the information needed to provide hosting, storage and submission delivery.
Google Drive authorization
Only the CombiRents administrator authorizes the Drive connection. Operators do not need to connect a Google account. The app requests the limited Google Drive drive.file permission, which covers files and folders selected for this app and files the app creates. It uses that permission to verify approved machine folders and save reports, photos and QR images. It does not request permission to access the whole Drive.
The app uses Google API data only to provide these reporting features. It does not sell Google API data or use it for advertising or AI model training. CombiRents Machine Intake's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Access and retention
Machine QR pages accept new reports and do not provide access to past reports, stored photos or the fleet dashboard. Records are held privately for CombiRents review and remain until CombiRents removes them. There is no automatic deletion schedule in this app.
Contact CombiRents to request access, correction or removal of information you submitted, or to ask about retention. The QR form itself does not let operators view, edit or delete existing records.
